Трубочки Cream Horns Recipe
More and more childhood sweets memories and this time it’s one of my absolute favorites : трубочки in Russian , cream horns. Very light ,airy ,crispy ,flaky , sweet … You name it, all the good things combined in one little piece of dessert, called cream horns.
All you need : puff pastry dough ,cream filling ,powdered sugar and a good cup of coffee, happiness guaranteed ,at least for a few minutes while you’re enjoying that yumminess 🙂

To make 12 cream horns ( double the recipe for more)
Two 5″x5″ puff pastry dough squares
1/2 Cup heavy whipping cream
11/2 Tbs sugar
1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
Flour for dusting the working surface
Powdered sugar for dusting the cream horns
You will also need 12 cream horn molds and lined baking pan
Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C degree
Prepare a lined baking sheet
On a floured surface cut each puff pastry dough into 6 stripes (12 altogether )
Using a rolling pin ,roll out each stripe into 12″-13″ ribbon
Wrap around the mold
Egg wash and bake 15-18 minutes or until golden color
Let cool down and prepare the cream filling
Beat the cold heavy cream,sugar and vanilla extract until the right consistency
Using a pastry bag with a star tip fill the baked,cooled pastry cones with whip cream
Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!
