Crunchy Cauliflower Recipe

Haven’t made crunchy cauliflower for years. As much as I avoid fried food in general, this happens to be one of my favorites , ok , after fried potatoes of course.

Nothing complicated nor difficult, a few simple steps and crunchy cauliflower can be served right at your table. My personal favorite dip for these fried treats, is avocado hummus. Crunchy Cauliflower - Խրթխրթան Տապակած Ծաղկակաղամբ

Ingredients 

Crunchy Cauliflower - Խրթխրթան Տապակած Ծաղկակաղամբ

1 medium or large head of cauliflower, stimmed  or cooked

2 medium eggs , ½ tsp garlic powder

⅓ tsp cayenne

¼ tsp cumin




Salt to taste

Panko bread crumbs

Vegetable oil for frying, I use grapeseed oil

Directions 

Crunchy Cauliflower - Խրթխրթան Տապակած Ծաղկակաղամբ

Divide or cut cauliflower into small pieces

Steam or cook 5-7 minutes or until it reaches to your preferred softness

In a bowl combine the eggs and spices, whisk to incorporate

Pour the crumbs into another bowl

Line a tray with paper towel and set aside

Preheat oil to 375° F, I use a cast iron skillet

Dip cauliflower into egg mixture then into bread crumbs

Fry 1-2 minutes or until golden color

Serve hot or warm , with a side of your favorite dip
