Mallow Salad Recipe
Quickly improvised Mallow salad that turned out so delicious, light yet very satisfying , perfect healthy meal for anytime of the day.
While this incredibly nutritious herb is in season and basically can be found everywhere; on the roadside, beach side , anywhere grassy, decided to go for my favorite kind of cooking and fix a quick, easy, healthy herb and veggie salad, spice and season it light and simple. Just the way I like.
To be honest it turned out so much tastier, than I was expecting . Will highly recommend to give this deliciousness a try. Can’t wait to hear your feedback after you do.

1 lbs fresh Mallow leaves, thoroughly washed
5-6 cherry tomatoes, I’ve also used a few heirloom tomatoes , sliced into halves or quarters
3-5 red radishes , thinly sliced into strips or circles
Freshly chopped parsley, scallions, cilantro, dill, basil , about 2-3 tbs of each, you can use only the ones you prefer and as much as you like
3-4 mini bell peppers , thinly sliced
1 avocado , optional
Optionally you can always add extra greens to your preference
Crumbled feta cheese to your taste
For the dressing
1 ½ tbs avocado oil . 1 ½ tbs extra virgin olive oil . 1 garlic clove, chopped or minced
1 ½ tsp balsamic vinegar (white or red no difference)
Salt and pepper to taste
This recipe can be flexible, feel free to use any of your favorite spices, herbs or dressings ,the salad will taste just as delicious !
Toss all the ingredients in a large bowl
Combine and mix together ingredients for the dressing
Pour the dressing over the herbs and veggies and toss
Top with avocado slices and feta before serving
This Mallow salad can make a great pita pocket sandwich
