Sour Cream Mushrooms Recipe
An incredibly delicious, quick and easy side dish from Armenian cuisine called sour cream mushrooms.
This will make you less than 15 minutes to make and will make a great side to rice, bulgur or wheat pilaf.
Very few ingredients needed to make this delightful side dish.

This recipe will serve 3-4 people
2 packs , about 460 grams white mushrooms
1 small onion, finely chopped
2-3 tbs vegetable oil, I use avocado oil
1 tbs flour
2-3 tbs sour cream
¼ cup water, may need a bit more if the mixture is too thick
⅓ tsp garlic powder
Fresh herbs: parsley, cilantro or dill, use anything on hand, 2-3 tbs
Salt and pepper to taste
Wipe the mushrooms with dry paper towel , cut off stems and slice in halves
Sautée onions until translucent , add in mushrooms
Cook and stir 1-2 minutes
Add flour and cook another 2-3 minutes
Stir in sour cream, cook 1-2 minutes and add water , herbs and spices
Cook everything together 2-3 minutes while stirring constantly to avoid sticking
