Cranberry Pomegranate Sauce
Classic cranberry sauce with slight different touch therefore the name is also changed to cranberry pomegranate sauce . I love using pomegranate in many of my salads and desserts , haven’t used it for sauce and decided to try and loved it! As Thanksgiving Day is approaching ,I thought I’d make a few Holiday related dishes. This bright colored cranberry pomegranate sauce will be a great addition to the festive dishes menu, right on time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Ingredients
12 oz (a package ) fresh cranberries, washed strained
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of fresh orange juice
Zest of one orange
1/2 cup pomegranate wine ,semi sweet ( you can substitute the wine with juice )
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 tsp of clove powder
A piece of fresh ginger ( about 20 grams/ 1 tbs)
1/2 cup of pomegranate seeds
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan , except for the pomegranate seeds
Give it a quick mix and allow to cook about 8-10 minute on medium heat
Remove from the heat , take out the ginger , cinnamon stick and let it cool down completely
Add pomegranate seeds, mix and enjoy
Keep refrigerated
