Lentil Bulgur Pilaf Recipe
Quick and incredibly delicious pilaf that will definitely go to lentil lovers favorites .
A few simple ingredients and no effort will be required to make this truly delicious Armenian dish.

Ingredients
1 cup green lentils
½ cup coarse (#4 grind) bulgur
2-3 tbs vegetable oil
3-4 scallions, chopped
Cumin, black and red peppers, salt to taste
Serve with plain yogurt, pickled veggies or freshly squeezed lemon juice
Directions
Cool and strain the grains, be sure to salt while cooking
Sauté scallions with oil
Add cooked grains to sautéed onions
Spice and season to taste and allow to set with covers lid, about 7-10 minutes
Enjoy warm or cool
