No Bake Cake Balls
Another one of those easy-lazy dessert ideas: no bake cake balls .
Only a few ingredients , plus about half an hour of your precious time, and you can enjoy super tasty crispy snacks and even impress your guests with your delightful creation. As these cake balls look incredibly decadent. Feel free to use your creative imagination and decorate these no bake cake balls to your taste, maybe drizzle with colored candy melts, sugar crystals or sprinkles…
Ingredients
70 grams of unsalted butter
5 cups of miniature marshmallows
5-6 cups of chocolate Rice Krispies cereal, the mixture should be thick ,non runny
½ cup of toasted, finely chopped pecans (toast pecans at 350° F about 5-7 minutes)
½ cup of semisweet chocolate chips
3 tbs heavy cream
2 tbs rum or liquor ( optional)
You can use candy melts, sugar crystals or sprinkles to decorate (optional)
Directions
Start by melting the chocolate chips, use a microwave or double boiler
To the melted chocolate add heavy cream and rum, mix, set aside
In a large pot melt the butter on a medium heat
Add marshmallows, mix constantly until it’s melted completely,
Add the chocolate mixture, chopped pecans, rice cereal and mix to incorporate
Using a large ice cream scoop, spoon the mixture into your palm and form firm balls
Tip* Wear rubber gloves, put a few drops of oil into your palms to form smoother and more even looking balls
Melt the candy melts according to the packaging instructions
Drizzle the cake balls with candy melt, sprinkle with sugar crystals or sprinkles
