Zaatar Spice Recipe – Middle Eastern Spice Mix

Zaatar Spice Recipe

The most aromatic zaatar spice, one unique middle eastern spice mix. I’d only use this spice to make that famous Lebanese bread.

I uploaded a YouTube tutorial for zaatar bread and got so many requests on how to make the zaatar spice mix. Therefore, I thought to upload a quick and easy tutorial on how to make your own zaatar spice.

Not to take too much of your precious time, I’ll put down the measurements and ingredients, as there’s nothing else you’d need to know when making the spice.

You can always adjust the taste to your preference by adding more or less salt, sumac, cumin or black pepper. These are my own measurements for the taste I find to be mild and moderate.

Be sure to watch my YouTube tutorial for zaatar bread and try baking it, it’s not difficult and well worth every effort .

Would appreciate your feedback and comments on my instagram or Facebook page. And thank you everyone, who takes time to send me the pictures of the dishes or sweets, made by my recipes,  I really appreciate it!

Getting to the recipe of zaatar spice, enjoy!
