Gozinaki Recipe
Childhood sweets memories can’t be complete without sesame brittle/gozinaki.
There were only a few different variations of this brittle, some would make it with added sunflower seeds or peanuts.
We’d eat and crash any kids no without hesitation.
I’ll share a quick recipe and tips on how to make it .
You choose to add more of your preferred seeds or double the recipe.

Ingredients
¾ cup sesame seeds , not toasted
¼ cup sunflower seeds, unsalted not roasted
½ tsp sea salt
¾ cup granulated white sugar
Directions
In a heavy bottom fry pan combine all ingredients and stir constantly until the mixture is well combined, toasted and all the sugar is melted

Prepare a greased baking pan before roasting , the brittle hardens very quickly
Spread the mixture in a thin layer while it’s still hot
Allow to cool down completely and crack into bite size pieces or cut while it’s warm
Save in an airtight container for a very long time
