Lavash Salmon Wraps
Great addition to your holiday menu: lavash salmon wraps. Easy to make , look very festive, colorful but most importantly these wraps are super delicious.
I already made a tutorial on how to prepare cured salmon, you can watch it on my YouTube channel. It’s very easy to make , costs less than the ones at supermarkets .
Other ingredients are pretty basic. Just make sure you use fresh lavash to avoid the rolls from cracking.
I’ll go ahead and put down a very detailed list and instructions on how to make these lavash salmon wraps and hope many will try and like it .
Ingredients
Fresh lavash bread , cut into 12”x9” rectangles
Cured or smoked salmon
Cream cheese, at room temperature
Dried herbs: basil, dill or tarragon
Chili flakes
Romaine lettuce
Cucumber
Red bell pepper: roasted or marinated
Onion or scallion, thinly sliced or finely chopped
Directions
Cut two lavash rectangles and set aside in plastic bag to avoid drying out
Combine herbs and chili flakes with cream cheese, mix until incorporated
Slice all your vegetables and set aside, refer to YouTube video for more details
Spread cream cheese on lavash
Layer with all your ingredients , thin and evenly layered
Place lavash slices on top and roll carefully but firmly
Wrap with cling wrap and transfer to fridge to set and chil, 25-30 minutes
Remove the plastic wrap and slice into 1”-2” thickness slices
You can serve lavash salmon wraps with avocado slices and lemon wedges
